The focus of our research is to investigate structural and dynamical properties of biomembranes, the influence of cavitation on the integrity of neural cell membranes and also structure and dynamics of water and aqueous solutions at interfaces and in bulk. To study our systems on the molecular level we use computer simulation techniques such as molecular dynamics. Applications we are currently working on involve understanding the action of antimicrobial peptides, effect of bubble collapse on myelin sheath and peculiar behavior of water diffusion in ionic aqueous solutions.
